Starwood Hotels Worldwide is to open ten St Regis hotels across the world over the next 12 months.
The expansion includes the 176-room St Regis Bangkok, which will open this month, offering 53 private residences, a spa, and restaurants.
Starwood will also restore the Grand Hotel in Florence, Italy, which will reopen as The St Regis Florence in September 2011.
The hotel will feature 81 rooms and 18 additional suites, as well as a spa, a dining area and a restored ballroom.
The St Regis Tianjin, China, will be unveiled later this year, offering 284 rooms, a spa, a health club and an indoor heated swimming pool.
Opening around the same time is The St Regis Sanya Yalong Bay in China, a beachside resort featuring a spa, boutique shopping, a business centre, a health club and 33 guestrooms, 40 suites and 28 beach-side villas.
The St Regis Shenzhen, China, which will feature 289 rooms, five restaurants, lounges and a spa, is scheduled to open this year.
The St Regis Doha will also open this year, offering 336 rooms in its two 14-storey beach-facing towers, as well as a spa, water sports, three restaurants and a fitness centre.
The St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort and The Residences in Abu Dhabi, UAE, will be unveiled this year, featuring 380 rooms, 292 private residences, six themed restaurants and lounges, 2,972m² of banquet and meeting facilities, a spa and other health and fitness facilities.
The St Regis Abu Dhabi, which will open in early 2012, will feature 281 rooms, 56 suites, restaurants, bars, 4,645m² of meeting and event space, and a 2,972m² health club with an outdoor swimming pool.
The beachfront St Regis Mauritius, which will feature 173 rooms and five restaurants, is slated for a 2012 opening.
St Regis Bal Harbour in the US state of Florida will open in early 2012 and feature 251 rooms and suites, including 37 condominium suites, 269 private residences, a 1,114m² spa, a fitness centre and restaurants.
