Canada-based international hotel operator Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is planning to expand its five star hotel portfolio in India.

The company is planning to develop five-star hotel properties in Mumbai, Bangalore, NCR (national capital region), Goa, Rajasthan, Kerala and Agra over the next three years.

In India, the company operates a 210-room hotel in Mumbai and another 250-room hotel is currently under development in Bangalore.

In addition the company has also signed a letter of intent with an Indian real estate company, Three C Universal Developers, to manage a five-star hotel, which is expected to open in 2014.

Currently the company is operating 85 hotels across the globe.
