Wyndham Hotel Group and MasterBUILT are to construct 75 new Microtel hotels in Canada over the next 25 years.

Led by Jay Westman and Marc Staniloff, MasterBUILT Hotels is a joint venture between JWI Investments, parent company of Western Canadian home builder Jayman MasterBUILT, and Superior Lodging, developer of Wyndham Hotel Group’s Super 8 brand in Canada.

Microtel Inns & Suites operates two hotels in Canada and the brand has signed agreements for an additional ten hotels in the country.

Wyndham Hotel Group operates 7,210 hotels in 67 countries under its brands Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Ramada, Days Inn, Super 8 and Howard Johnson.
