Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide plans to further expand its presence in Sharjah with the opening of the 220-room Four Points by Sheraton Sharjah hotel in 2013.

The mixed-use property will be owned by Hassan Ahmad Ibrahim Al Marzouqi and will include office, residential and retail facilities.

The hotel will feature 187 rooms and 33 suites, a restaurant, fitness centre and outdoor pool, four meeting rooms and a business centre.

Starwood currently operates three Four Points by Sheraton hotels in the UAE, all of them located in Dubai.
