Obos Forretningsbygg has awarded a NOK366m ($69.5m) contract to Veidekke Entreprenør to build a hotel in the centre of Bergen, Norway.
The hotel will have a floor area of 19,000m² spread over thirteen floors, and will offer 368 rooms and conference space for up to 700 people.
The hotel will be designed by Niels Torp Arkitekter and built after the demolition of an existing building on the site.
Construction will start in June 2011 and is expected to be completed in early 2014.
The property will be operated by Rica Hotels after completion.
