Abu Dhabi-based hotel company Rotana Hotels is to develop six hotels across the UAE by the end of 2011.
In the emirate of Abu Dhabi, three of the six hotels – Centro Al Manhal, Centro Capital Centre and Capital Centre Rotana – will be located in the city of Abu Dhabi, offering a total of 953 rooms, and the 200-room Hili Rayhaan will be located in Al Ain.
In Dubai, Rotana will open the Deira Dubai during the third quarter of 2011, which with the Al Khor Arjaan and Rayhaan, part of the Al Ghurair Shopping Mall complex, will provide 621 rooms.
By 2014, Rotana will expand at an average of eight hotels per year with 30 hotels in the pipeline.
The expansion is part of Rotana’s overall plan to add 9,000 rooms in the Middle East and 18,000 rooms worldwide by 2014.
