The Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay in Miami, Florida, US, has reopened following a $31m renovation that lasted two years.

Renovations to the 600-room hotel included a new Marriott Hotels & Resorts lobby featuring pod seating with LCD televisions, nooks for working and socialising, and an indoor / outdoor Espressamente Illy Cafe.

The project also included upgrades to meeting and event spaces, the fitness centre and pool, and the concierge lounge.

The guestrooms were upgraded at a cost of $17m.

The hotel currently features 1,859m² of indoor space and 23 meeting rooms, which include an 863m² ballroom, a new 232m² ballroom and executive boardroom, a 149m² fitness centre and a 185m² lounge.
