Hyatt Acquires Three Woodfin Hotels

A Hyatt Hotels Corporation affiliate has acquired three Woodfin Suites hotels in California, US, for $76.5m from O-B Holdings, a joint venture managed by Three Wall Capital.

The acquired properties include a 142-suite hotel in Cypress, a 234-suite hotel in Emeryville and a 194-suite hotel in Sorrento Mesa.

All three properties were rebranded as Hyatt Summerfield Suites hotels.

The acquisition has increased the Hyatt Summerfield Suites portfolio by approximately 9% to a total of 38 locations in the US.

The properties are to undergo renovations to the tune of approximately $15m.
