Asia Pacific luxury hotel group Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has revealed plans to open its second property in the city of Mumbai, India. The firm’s first property in the country, in New Delhi, opened in 2005.
The hotel will feature 410 rooms and 23 luxury apartments, and is situated within the residential and corporate hub of Lower Parel in Mumbai.
The facility will also include a health club, a swimming pool, a spa, a ballroom and a business centre with conference and meeting facilities.
The property will be managed by Pallazzio Hotels and Leisure under an agreement signed between the two companies, and is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2011.
