The Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), the 300-unit alliance of independent hotel brands, has deployed a technology platform to share guest information globally.

The multi-brand system is powered by Opera Enterprise Solution from Micros Systems, and is being deployed to support the alliance’s new GHA Discovery loyalty programme.

The Micros Opera Customer Information System enables GHA to connect with its member brands and share guest information globally through GHA Discovery’s membership profile information and preferences.

The GHA Discovery loyalty programme, which was unveiled in March 2011, unites independent luxury hotel brands to deliver recognition and experience-based rewards across 300 hotels globally, according to Hospitality Technology.
