Windsor Atlantica, Rio de Janeiro’s newly renovated hotel, has signed a deal with Utell Hotels & Resorts for global representation and marketing, and with Pegasus Solutions for global commission processing.
The 545-room hotel is Utell’s 18th Rio de Janeiro property and becomes the fifth property to join Utell from the Windsor Hotels Group.
Previously operated by Starwood Hotels under the Le Meridien brand, the Windsor Atlantica was acquired by Windsor Hotels Group prior to its renovation, which was completed in January 2011.
The hotel features three restaurants, a spa, a fitness centre, two swimming pools and 24 meeting rooms.
Utell Hotels & Resorts is part of Pegasus Solutions and provides sales, marketing and distribution solutions for hotels and travel distributors.
