Marriott International and Granite Broadway Development have signed a franchise agreement to construct a 68-storey hotel building in New York, US.
The project will include a 378-room Courtyard by Marriott and a 261-room Residence Inn by Marriott, which will be collectively known as the Courtyard and Residence Inn Manhattan / Central Park.
The hotels, which are expected to open in late 2013, will be managed by Interstate Hotels & Resorts.
The project will include a ground floor retail space, a restaurant on the second floor, a lounge and terrace on the fifth floor and a fitness centre on the 34th floor.
