Whitbread-owned budget hotel brand Premier Inn is to open three new hotels in Yorkshire, UK.
The new deals include a 130-room Premier Inn property in Leeds (Whitehall Road), which has a total area of 45,000ft² and is scheduled to open in 2014, and another property in Leeds (Hepworth House), which will be converted into a 131-room, 45,000ft² hotel and will open in 2012.
Premier Inn will also open a property in Harrogate, a 107-room hotel that will be launched in 2012 and will form part of the extension to the Harrogate International Centre, which is currently under construction.
The three sites will add a total of 368 rooms to Premier Inn’s portfolio and bring the company closer to achieving its target of operating 65,000 hotel rooms in the UK within the next five years.
Whitbread made an investment of over £22m for the leaseholds of the three sites.
