US-based Amin Construction has secured an order from State Trading Organisation for the development of a 250-room hotel in Hulhumale in the Maldives.
The project will cost $7.5m and is expected to take 18 months to complete.
The property will be managed by hotel management firm Carlson Group, for which Carlson Hotels and State Trading will sign a management contract before the end of August.
Carlson operates numerous hospitality brands, including Radisson, Country Inns & Suites By Carlson, Park Inn by Radisson and Park Plaza.
