Turkey-based Sadikoglu Group is to build a $14m luxury hotel in central Basra, Iraq.
The 120-room hotel will be built on a 3,000m² area and will feature two restaurants, and entertainment and service facilities.
The seven-storey hotel is part of the preparations for the 2013 Gulf Cup, which will be held in Basra, according to zawya.com.
Basra investment board head Haidar Fadhil did not disclose the project’s completion date.
