Carlson will open a 125-room Radisson Blu hotel in Dehradun, India, in 2014.
The new $25m, six-storey Radisson Blu Hotel Dehradun will be the Carlson Group’s 89th property in India.
Construction is expected to begin in September this year with an opening date scheduled for the second quarter of 2014.
The Radisson Blu Hotel Dehradun is owned by Sir Biotech India and will feature a restaurant, a bar, a lobby lounge, a spa, a health club, a swimming pool and several meeting rooms and ballrooms.
Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific president Simon Barlow said the company will open 100 hotels in India by 2015 as part of its Ambition 2015 growth strategy.
