Chesapeake Lodging Trust has entered a $119m agreement to acquire the Denver Marriott City Center in Denver, Colorado, US.
The 613-room property features 28,000ft² of meeting space, including the 14,500ft² Colorado ballroom and the 6,000ft² Denver ballroom.
Chesapeake will renovate the hotel’s restaurant and food and beverage outlets, and will add an additional 4,500ft² of meeting space.
Completion of the proposed acquisition is expected within the next 30 days and Chesapeake will assume the existing management agreement with Marriott International.
