Inland American Real Estate Trust’s wholly owned subsidiary Inland American Lodging has acquired the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel and Spa in the US for $72m.

According to Inland American, the 275-room hotel completed a $7.3m renovation in March 2011 and will continue to be managed by the Lighthouse Lodging Group.

Napa Valley Marriott features a spa, 11,000ft² of meeting space and an outdoor heated pool.

Inland American Lodging oversees 105 hotels under the Choice, Fairmont, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Marriott, Starwood and Wyndham brands.
