Ritz-Carlton agrees to develop Chinese hotels

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel has signed agreements with Chinese property developer Shanghai Greenland Group for the development of two new Ritz-Carlton hotels in China. The agreement to develop The Ritz-Carlton, Wuhan and The Ritz-Carlton, Dalian will expand The Ritz-Carlton's China portfolio

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel has signed agreements with Chinese property developer Shanghai Greenland Group for the development of two new Ritz-Carlton hotels in China.

The agreement to develop The Ritz-Carlton, Wuhan and The Ritz-Carlton, Dalian will expand The Ritz-Carlton’s China portfolio to 13 by 2017.

Scheduled to open in 2017, the 330-room property will feature meeting facilities covering an area of more than 2,500m², restaurants, a lobby lounge that will accommodate 70 guests and a 50-seat bar.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company currently operates 76 hotels in the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean.
