A year after opening, hip Edinburgh boutique hotel Tigerlily has won the Scottish Award for Excellence in Interior Design and the Theme Bar & Restaurant Awards for Best UK Design and Best Late Night Venue.

The boutique hotel also scooped two of the prestigious Theme Bar & Restaurant awards, the first for Best UK Design, and the second for Best Late Night Venue for the hotel’s underground club Lulu.

Tigerlily is a three storey townhouse situated on Edinburgh’s historic George Street that fuses traditional Georgian features with vibrant contemporary design.

Tigerlily recently gained a coveted place on the Conde Nast Hot Hotels List 2007, when it was named as one of the World’s Coolest Hotels.
