Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide has announced it will open its first hotel in Latvia in 2010.

The new build, 24-storey, 312-room Sheraton will be part of a business complex in Riga.

The two-tower complex – one tower being the hotel and the other for office space – will be the largest business centre in the Baltic states.
