Hilton Hotels has announced the launch of the Hampton by Hilton brand in the UK, with the first hotel expected to open in Northhamptonshire next year.

Franchisee Hotel Solutions London will open a 86-bedroom Hampton in Corby.

Trading in the USA as Hampton Inn, the company describes it as “a new kind of economy hotel”.

The company plans to open 20 Hampton by Hilton hotels within the next four to five years.

Hilton says it intends to double its presence in the UK from 75 to 150 properties over the next ten years.
