Information technology provider Mercator has launched a new automated booking channel for the hotel industry.
DaeX, a free web service that interfaces central reservation systems or a hotel’s property management system with an internet booking engine or tour operating system, enables real-time automation of bookings safely and securely.
Mercator says the system is different to those already available as it allows hotels to interact and transact with tour operators, wholesalers and corporate clients in real-time.
The system is already in use at 54 hotels in the United Arab Emirates.
