Carlson Hotels Worldwide says it opened properties in 16 locations between August and October this year.
The group says seven Country Inns & Suites By Carlson were opened in the US, bringing the total number of properties for the brand to 428.
In August, the Radisson SAS opened a new hotel in Dublin and the Radisson Edwardian opened a new property in London in September.
Radisson Hotels & Resorts opened properties in Indiana, New Mexico and Minnesota.
During October, two Park Inn hotels opened in Germany and one opened in Glasgow, Scotland, while the Canadian province of British Columbia saw the arrival of its first Park Inn, in Vancouver.
Carlson says Regent Hotels & Resorts will open its first property in Bordeaux, France, early next year, followed by properties in the US and the Maldives.
In 2009, Regent will expand in Asia and Europe with the opening of hotels in Bangkok and Croatia, which will be followed by properties in Costa Rica and the United Arab Emirates in 2010.
