Middle Eastern hotel operator Rotana Hotels has unveiled four new Abu Dhabi properties in collaboration with Aldar Properties PJSC.
The proposed hotels, expected to open between 2009 and 2012, will include a 300-room Rotana hotel on Yas Island and a 250-room 5-star Rotana Hotel in the Al Seef precinct of the Al Raha beach development.
The addition of these properties increases the chain’s original expansion plans of 55 hotels by 2010 to 60 by 2012.
Rotana president and CEO Selim El Zyr says the expansion of the company’s portfolio will aid its aggressive growth strategy for the region.
