Al Habtoor and Murray & Roberts have signed with real estate developers Nakheel to construct the Trump International Hotel & Tower on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.
The AED2.9bn contract covers the construction of the 62-storey building, set to become a focal point of the Palm Jumeirah.
The development comprises a unit mix of 378 hotel rooms and suites, 385 condominiums, 12 exclusive townhouses, and 45,000ft² of retail and 60,000ft² of office space.
Construction will begin in July 2008 and is expected to be complete by May 2011.
