InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Bukhamseen Group have signed an agreement to introduce the first Staybridge Suties to Kuwait.
Two hotels will be developed in Kuwait City – one in the Salmiva district and the other in the Farwaniva airport area.
IHG Chief Operating Officer for Middle the East and Africa John Bamsey said the group aims to lead the market by setting new standards and clearly differentiating ourselves from the apartment-style concepts currently on offer.
The 120-suite Staybridge Suites Salmiya will open in November 2009, while the 150-suite Staybridge Suites Farnawiya, an extension of the existing Crowne Plaza Kuwait, will open in January 2010.
