A redesign of guestrooms is underway at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne, Australia, as part of the hotel’s green initiative.
The redesign of the 546 rooms began last year and is expected to be complete in 2011.
Designer Joseph Pang created the design concept for the project, which will enhance the hotel rooms’ interiors with upgraded features.
All rooms will be fitted with sensors and a room control system, as well as energy-efficient lighting and water-saving devices, according to spicenews.com.au.
