WashDCHotels.com has signed an agreement with Velocitude to use its mobile-web technology solution at selected hotels in Washington DC, US.
Velocitude executive vice president Joy Randels said the solution will help the site increase its customer base for mobile devices and will also help the company to capture future bookings and drive revenues.
The solution will also deliver advanced applications including text message, video, loyalty programmes, social networking, unique mobile viewing options, on-premises services and augmented reality.
The mobile technology is being launched at hotels including the Crowne Plaza Crystal City and the Courtyard by Marriott Tysons Corner.
WashDCHotels.com is a destination and tourism site for the BF Saul company hotel division and Velocitude is a technology company.
