The Ukrainian Government has agreed a proposal to build 20 new hotels ahead of the UEFA European Football Championship in 2012.

The government is expected to sign a hotel brand that will build 30 ultra-modern hotels, according to nrcu.gov.ua.

The move was made because the nation’s hotels are ill-equipped to cater for the increased visitors expected during the football tournament.
