InterContinental Hotels Group has relaunched its 2,500th hotel, the Holiday Inn Poza Rica Aeropuerto, in Poza Rica, Veracruz, Mexico, as part of the company’s global brand relaunch.

A total of 3,300 hotels and 430,000 rooms worldwide were redesigned to improve quality and drive consistency at all Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels.

Work on another 865 Holiday Inn hotels in the global development pipeline will be completed soon.

The relaunched hotels feature upgraded and decluttered lobby areas, bathroom amenities, exterior lighting and landscaping, signage with the redesigned logo.

InterContinental Hotels Group owns over 4,400 hotels under the brands InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Hotel Indigo, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts.
