Ritz Carlton has opened its second hotel in Shanghai in the $1bn mixed-use Shanghai IFC Complex in the Pudong district of China.
Ritz-Carlton Shanghai will operate from the top 18 floors of the 53-storey Shanghai IFC South Tower.
As well as 285 rooms, which vary from 500 to 4,000ft², the hotel will include more than 25,000ft² of meeting and conference spaces, with an 11,000ft² grand ballroom.
The hotel was developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties.
The Florida-headquartered hospitality company operates seven hotels in China, according to globest.com.
