A new luxury resort with air-conditioned suites with televisions and a water park for dogs and cats has opened in Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, US.
The Best Friends Pet Care Resort has more than 50,000ft² of indoor and outdoor spaces with runs, play areas and rooms that can accommodate up to 270 dogs, 30 cats, as well as hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and ferrets.
For pet lovers, the new facility offers four VIP suites with TVs, raised bedding and private outdoor yards, a 1,300ft² water park for canines, a grooming salon and orthopaedic bedding.
The resort also boasts an exclusive dog park featuring a fenced walking trail bordering the natural wetlands around the park, a 3,300ft² area covered in artificial turf and a 4,500ft² area with shaded by trees.
