The renovation of the Sheraton Hamilton in Ontario, Canada, will be complete by March 2011.

The majority of the project is complete, with about 100 rooms still left to be renovated.

The hotel received between C$6m ($5.8m) and C$8m ($7.7m) as part of the $6bn rebranding initiative.

The 18-storey building will feature 302 rooms, meeting spaces, a loft lounge, restaurant, upgraded pool and fitness centre, and a business centre.

The scheme’s owner Darko Vranich and Starwood are working together for the renovations, according to The Hamilton Spectator.
