Pan-Africa hotel group African Sun has opened a new four-star hotel, Best Western Lagos, in Nigeria under a management contract.

The hotel has 112 medium-sized rooms comprising four business express rooms, six business deluxe rooms, six suites, 96 business rooms and a 100-seat conference centre.

The group manages four other properties in Nigeria and also plans to open five additional hotels with 754 rooms in West and South Africa within the next 12 months.

The expansion is expected to increase revenue and profitability after the global financial crisis, according to herald.co.zw.
