Hilton Worldwide has signed a franchise agreement with Operadora de Hoteles y Restaurantes to open a Doubletree hotel near Mexico City Benito Juarez International Airport, Mexico.

The Hotel ITER Internacional Aeropuerto Terminal 2 will reopen as the Doubletree by Hilton in 2011 after completion of a major renovation and refurbishment project.

The hotel will offer 96 deluxe guestrooms and suites, 700m² of conference and event space, a restaurant, lobby bar and fitness facility.

The hotel will be the brand’s second in the country.

Doubletree by Hilton is a member of the Hilton Worldwide portfolio of hotels with 230 hotel and resort locations across five continents.
