Plans have been approved for a new 251-room hotel to be located next to Bristol Airport in North Somerset, UK.
North Somerset Council’s South Area Committee approved the plans for the hotel, which will be located 100m from the terminal building.
“An on-site hotel is essential if we are to achieve our ambition of becoming a world-class regional airport serving the South West,” said Bristol Airport CEO Robert Sinclair.
An international hotel brand will be selected over the course of the next few months in partnership with developer Pedersen Airport Hotels.
Work will begin early next year and completion is scheduled for 2012 / 13.
