Wyndham Hotel Group has signed an agreement to open its new first TRYP hotel in New York, US.

The 173-room TRYP New York City – Times Square South will be complete by the second quarter of 2011.

The hotel, which is owned by Eros Management Realty and developed by Flintlock Construction Services, will be managed by Wyndham Hotels Management.

The hotel was designed by Manhattan-based designer Glen Coben and features a fitness centre, a business centre and function spaces.

The company has 7,200 hotels and 12 brands located across the world.
