Israel-based Fattal Hotel Management has unveiled plans to expand its Herod’s Palace Hotel brand’s portfolio in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The firm plans to invest ILS60m ($16m) in converting the existing Leonardo Plaza Tel Aviv into a concept hotel with 330 rooms, based on the theme of Tel Aviv in the 1930s.

The Leonardo Plaza Dead Sea in Jerusalem will be upgraded and rebranded as Herod’s Palace Dead Sea Hotel.

Fattal will also invest $100m in the project, according to globes.co.il.
