French hotel group Accor has selected a new Virtual Concierge system developed by Oklahoma City-based software firm Monscierge for its Novotel brand.
Monsceirge has already developed and deployed a number of Novotel Vitrual Concierge systems in the UK and France with successful results.
The Novotel Virtual Concierge system carries a custom-designed, guest facing user-friendly interface on a digital touchscreen display that features hotel amenities, local information, recommendations, maps and directions, events and activities, weather, flight information, social postcards and other guest services.
Controlled through a cloud-based CMS system and powered by the Guest Experience Engine, the system uses SaaS framework to connect hotels with their guests across their entire journey.
The system is also designed to measure numerous properties or services.
Monscierge Europe, the Middle East and Africa managing director Liam Walsh said based on the Accor’s vision, the company had developed the design and product storyboard.
"We produced a project plan, which, in conjunction with our unique software platform, allowed us to deliver within a fraction of the time other vendors proposed," Walsh said.
Novotel global product, services and communications director Sabine Kadyss said: "The Novotel Virtual Concierge will enable Novotel hotels to enhance guest experience and provide a truly integrated environment where the touch board, smartphones and tablets are all synchronised to deliver an unlimited world of service and content."
Accor consumer technology vice-president David Esseryk said: "Novotel has selected Monscierge as a preferred partner, to provide guests with this unique concierge and entertainment service, and because of its considerable industry experience, deep understanding of guest requirements, and their technology roadmap and strategic vision."
