France-based Accor is to expand its Asia Pacific portfolio with the addition of over 200 hotels by 2014.

The group will open 63 hotels in India by 2014, including its first Sofitel, as well as its budget chain Formula 1 and upscale business brand Pullman.

The company will also add 35 properties to its existing network of 40 hotels in Indonesia by 2015.

Accor will add 60 hotels to its portfolio of 108 in China and will take over the management of more Australian hotels, with 18 management and franchise contracts signed this year.
