Carlson Rezidor intends to expand its UK portfolio by opening a new hotel, the Radisson Blu Hotel Kingston upon Hull, in collaboration with the developer Manor Property Group.
Scheduled to open in late 2016, the new hotel will increase Carlson Rezidor’s UK and Ireland portfolio to 51 hotels in operation and in the pipeline.
Radisson Blu Hotel Kingston upon Hull will have 168 rooms with Radisson Blu signature services like free high speed internet access, an all day dining restaurant, a lobby bar and café, and a health club.
The hotel will be designed to address the needs of local businesses and their visitors with 750m² of meeting space and underground parking.
The new Radisson hotel will be housed in the Manor Mill mixed-use development property, which will also feature a 23-floor residential tower, student homes, a 5,000m² casino, as well as a plaza with restaurants and bars.

The hotel will be located along the shores of the River Hull in the central business district of the city.
Manor Property Group hotel development director Mark Bailey said that the new upper upscale hotel will make a significant contribution to raising Hull’s hospitality profile.
"The Radisson Blu completes the jigsaw for Manor’s prestigious East Bank multi use development Manor Mill, enabling work to commence shortly," Bailey added.
"The exceptional facilities which will be provided by the development are timed to be open prior to Hull’s tenure as UK City of Culture 2017."
Currently, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group’s portfolio includes over 1,300 hotels in operation and under development across 100 countries worldwide.
