Dtour

DoubleTree by Hilton, a brand of Hilton Worldwide, has collaborated with Google to launch DTour, a YouTube channel for the hotel industry.

DTour allows travellers to plan their tours and share travelling experiences.

The online platform is integrated with major social media networks, which makes it easy for travellers to showcase their adventures.

Designed by software developer ThisMoment, DTour enables users to post photos, upload videos and share travel stories and experiences.

"DTour provides the perfect vehicle to celebrate the little things that make a difference and inspires a whole new way to plan and share travels."

The site also features tips, videos and suggestions from travel experts, including hotel team members.

DTour also features a ‘DTour Guides’ section, which allows DoubleTree by Hilton team members across the globe to share travel advice.

DoubleTree by Hilton global head John Greenleaf said, "DTour provides the perfect vehicle to celebrate the little things that make a difference and inspires a whole new way to plan and share travels."

"As DoubleTree by Hilton plans to open 60 new properties in 17 countries this year, the launch of DTour comes at a perfect time to celebrate our tremendous global growth and position as one of the fastest-growing brands in the full-service, upscale hotel category."

The DTour site also allows users to retrieve information and make reservations at DoubleTree by Hilton’s more than 330 properties across six continents.

To celebrate the launch of DTour, DoubleTree by Hilton is also conducting a ‘DTour of a Lifetime’ competition to find six people who will serve as brand ambassadors and will experience the adventures of a lifetime.

DTour and DTour of a Lifetime are part of DoubleTree by Hilton’s promotion strategy for global expansion.
