Hilton Worldwide has entered into Fujian province of China with the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Putian hotel.
The hotel is the twelfth DoubleTree by Hilton property in the country.
Located in the Chengxiang District, and offering 337 contemporary guestrooms, DoubleTree by Hilton Putian offers business and leisure travellers easy access to local attractions such as Meizhou Island, Putian South Shaolin Temple and Jiulong Valley National Forest Park.
The hotel features 23 suites, three restaurants, a lobby lounge and a fitness centre with an indoor swimming pool and spa.
The guestrooms feature an LCD flat-screen television with international satellite stations, MP3 alarm clock, in-room climate controls, laptop-size safe and signature DoubleTree by Hilton Sweet Dreams bed.
Throughout the hotel high-speed broadband and wireless internet access are available.
DoubleTree by Hilton Putian offers an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality Chinese restaurant, Kanto, and the Yuxi Chinese restaurant, which serves local Fujian cuisine.
A 1,200m² ballroom can accommodate up to 650 banquet diners or 1,260 guests seated theatre-style.
The hotel also features seven flexible function rooms and a business centre.
Hilton Worldwide Asia Pacific president Martin Rinck said that the company has over 110 properties in the pipeline.
