Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Worldwide have entered Wuhan with the opening of a new hotel, the Hilton Wuhan Optics Valley, in Hubei Province in China.

The six-storey hotel, which is owned by Wuhan Eco City Biguiyuan Investment and operated by Hilton Worldwide, represents Hilton Hotels & Resorts’ first property in Hubei Province.

Located in Wuhan East Lake High Tech Development Zone, the new property is in close proximity to the commercial and recreational districts in the Optics Valley as well as attractions including the East Lake and Happy Valley Amusement Park.

Hilton Wuhan Optics Valley has 520 modern guest rooms and suites offering scenic views from private balconies, five diverse restaurants and bars, and over 5,000m² of meeting space.

Hilton Hotels & Resorts global head Rob Palleschi said the group is delighted to introduce its first property in Wuhan, a city rich in culture and business potential.

The new hotel features modern amenities such as Hilton Serenity Beds, Peter Thomas Roth bathroom amenities, Wi-Fi access and Yanxi Lake views through floor-to-ceiling windows as well as an Executive Lounge on the third floor offering complimentary breakfast, refreshments and a cocktail hour.

Food and beverage outlets at the hotel include YUXI Restaurant, which serves Cantonese cuisine, Italian restaurant CUCINA, CHINACHOPS all-day dining restaurant, the Lobby Lounge, and El Valle, which offers tapas and cocktails.

The hotel also has 5,000m² of meeting space, including a 1,818m² pillar-free Grand Ballroom featuring a 10m-high ceiling with the capacity to accommodate around 1,600 people.

Additionally, the hotel offers corporate facilities and services including computers, copy machines, printers, printing services, telephones and postal services to meet guests’ business needs.
