Hilton Worldwide and DoubleTree by Hilton have launched a new upscale hotel, the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bangalore, in India.

The new hotel is located on Sarjapur – Outer Ring Road and is in close proximity to various IT / ITES Technology Parks, commercial and business hubs, entertainment and shopping centres, educational institutions as well as sports facilities.

Guest accommodation at the hotel includes purpose-built studios and suites aimed at a wide range of guests, from business travellers to long-stay guests.

DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bangalore is owned by real estate firm Mantri Developers and managed by Hilton Worldwide.

DoubleTree by Hilton global head John Greenleaf said the opening of DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bangalore is a significant milestone in the group’s growth in India.

"This hotel is an outstanding representation of our brand, and we look forward to delivering our globally-recognised service culture built around the idea of CARE, which stands for Create a Rewarding Experience, for our guests, team members and the community," Greenleaf added.

"CARE is demonstrated from the moment a guest walks through a hotel’s doors and is presented with a warm DoubleTree by Hilton chocolate chip cookie upon check-in, and continues through every aspect of the guest’s stay."

The new property has 172 rooms including studios as well as one-, two- and three-bedroom suites featuring modern conveniences like the signature Sweet Dreams by DoubleTree Sleep Experience bed, internet access, remote printing and CITRON bath amenities by Crabtree & Evelyn.

"Presently, we manage and franchise hotels and resorts in Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Chennai, Vadodara, Pune, Trivandrum, Goa, Shillim and now Bangalore."

The studios and suites offer living, dining and work areas, a well-equipped kitchenette, a private balcony, a dishwasher and washer/dryer.

Amenities at the new hotel include a 24hr business centre, 3,000ft² of conference and event space, temperature-controlled outdoor swimming pool, steam and sauna rooms and a 24hr fitness centre equipped with cardiovascular and strength training devices.

The hotel also offers various dining options with an all-day restaurant, Asia Alive, that serves Pan-Asian fare; Equinox lounge bar, which offers light bites; and all-day café and deli Grab and Go.

Hilton Worldwide India operations vice president Daniel Welk said the opening of DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bangalore marks the entry of the company into a prime market and is a significant step in its expansion into key city centre locations across India.

"Presently, we manage and franchise hotels and resorts in Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Chennai, Vadodara, Pune, Trivandrum, Goa, Shillim and now Bangalore," Welk added.
