Hilton Worldwide is to expand into the Latin American market.

Following the opening this year of the Hilton Garden Inn Santiago Airport in Chile, the company will introduce new Hilton Worldwide brands to new markets.

Hilton Worldwide currently has 45 hotels and resorts throughout Latin America, this year adding the DoubleTree by Hilton Queretaro, Mexico and Hilton Garden Inn Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico to its portfolio.

The company expects its presence in Latin America to surpass 60 hotels with a robust pipeline by the end of 2013.
