Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement with Palm Grove Beach Hotels, a subsidiary of K. Raheja Constructions Group, to open the first Conrad Hotels & Resorts branded hotel in India.
The new Conrad Pune will be located at Mangaldas Road in the central business district of Pune and in close proximty to the commercial and entertainment hubs in Kalyani Nagar, government institutions in Yerwada and residential neighborhoods of Koregaon Park and Bund Garden.
Conrad Pune, which will be designed based on the Art Deco style, will feature 310 guestrooms with in-room technology and six-fixture marble baths, while offering the choice of six dining outlets.
The hotel will also have 16,200ft² of meeting and event space, including a grand 8,300ft² ballroom that can be divisible into three, a break-away function room, a pre-function area, four boardrooms as well as a fully equipped 24hr business centre.
Hilton Worldwide luxury and lifestyle brands global head John Vanderslice noted that Conrad Hotels & Resorts has a global portfolio of 23 properties in key gateway cities and resort destinations.

Other amenities at the hotel will include an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, a full-service spa and a salon.
K. Raheja Constructions Group managing director Sandeep Raheja said the group is pleased to partner with Hilton Worldwide and is excited about opening the first Conrad hotel in the country.

Conrad Pune will offer the mobile Conrad Concierge app that allows travellers to customise the details of their hotel like bath amenities and checking-in, while in-transit from the airport through a smartphone or tablet.
