Hilton Worldwide has expanded its US hotel portfolio with the opening of the dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn Oklahoma City-Bricktown and Homewood Suites by Hilton Oklahoma City-Bricktown.
The property represents Hilton’s 14th dual-branded property in North America, and the 13th involving Homewood Suites.
The Oklahoma City-Bricktown hotel, which is the tenth Hilton Garden Inn and fourth Homewood Suites property in Oklahoma, is an 11-storey hotel with 155 Hilton Garden Inn and 100 Homewood Suites rooms and suites.
Owned by Apple REIT Company, the new hotel is managed by hospitality real estate developers Raymond Management Company.
Hilton focused service and Hampton brand global head Phil Cordell said the group continues to see success with the dual-branded hotel model, as it caters to a wide array of guests.
"We’re excited to add another dual-build to our portfolio and bring the unique concept to Oklahoma with the addition of the new Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton Oklahoma City-Bricktown," Cordell added.
Located in the centre of Oklahoma’s entertainment district, the dual-brand hotel is next to the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and provides access to shopping, dining and nightlife in the region.
The hotel features three meeting rooms, an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, as well as a 24hr fitness centre, two lobbies offering two separate check-in desks and lodging/dining areas.
The Hilton Garden Inn has 4,620ft² of meeting space, while the Homewood Suites by Hilton Oklahoma City-Bricktown features a game room.
During the past year, Homewood Suites has opened properties in Dallas, Denver and Nashville and is now planning to debut the brand’s first New York City property in late 2014.
