Hilton Worldwide has expanded its presence in Spain with the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Center La Mola in Catalonia, Spain.
The new hotel, which underwent a major refurbishment programme, joins the recently opened DoubleTree by Hilton & Spa Emporda and Hilton Garden Inn Sevilla, both being the first hotels under their respective brands in Spain.
Located near the Barcelona El Prat airport and Real Club de Golf El Prat golf course, the La Mola hotel offers business and leisure travellers 186 guestrooms and suites, 4,500m² of meetings and events space and a 800m² spa, which were part of the recent renovations.
The hotel also features the Sensations Spa and Wellness Centre equipped with 24hr fitness centre, treatment rooms, heated indoor pool, chromotherapy thermal circuit, steam room, sauna and outdoor swimming pool; and 26 meeting rooms, including 14 multi-function meeting rooms, two 54-seat auditoriums and a video conference room.
Dining options at the hotel include L’Obac restaurant and outdoor terrace bar Sòfora Gastrobar.
The hotel is neighboured by a 17th century manor house Mas Bonvilar, where guests can also book weddings and private functions.

With the addition of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Center La Mola to its portfolio, Hilton Worldwide currently operates eight hotels in Spain, including five Hilton Hotels & Resorts properties located in Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo and Palma, Mallorca.
